{baby shower}

My wonderful girlfriends have offered to throw me a shower and I am so very excited for it :) I'm trying to gather addresses for it and would love it you could leave yours in a comment. If you are reading this, you are invited! Please, don't be shy; I would love to see you there.

Knowing my girlfriends, it is going to be a good one and you wont want to miss out! If you don't feel comfortable leaving your address in a comment, you can email it to me at chrissymari@gmail.com.

{its official}

The first of August, Lance & I and baby Walker will be packing our bags and moving to this beautiful city.

Lance landed a job with EPIC, a medical software company based out of Madison, Wisconsin. They are a great company that, as I am told, have been dominating their industry and are growing like crazy despite the recession. We feel very blessed to have such a great job offer and, while we are sad to leave behind all of our family and friends, we are so excited for the adventure ahead of us.

Lance will be working as a project manager, heading up a team that will travel to hospitals across the country to implement the new software. I am so proud of him and his hard work in school. It's so fun to be graduating and to see all his hard work paying off! I love you babe.

{so sad}

I am the enrichment leader in our ward and scheduled a meeting with our committee for this last Sunday. I got up bright and early to make these yummy things.

I was so proud of myself! I had everything set out so cute; cut up fruit, a pitcher of milk, everything! I even pulled these babies out of the oven just as everyone was arriving for the meeting. The smell of lemon poppy-seed muffins filled the air! I was about to say, "help yourself!" when someone shyly piped up, "um....isn't it fast Sunday?"

{sunday dinner}

This last Sunday we had Lance's family over for pot roast, potatoes & carrots. Pot roast has been a Sunday tradition with my family for a long time so it was fun to make my family classic. And we were so lucky to have everyone over for an evening of fun. Little Savannah is visiting grandma for the week and, as you can see, she is quite the character! She was keeping us all laughing the entire night. She is such a smart little one and has started to really talk up a storm.

She loves her Keaton more than anything!

Trishy taking a little nap after our big feast!

Oh how we love our family! It's so much fun having everyone close (besides Kirstin, of course) and being able to play with them so often. I just know our little one is going to love his aunts, uncles, and grandparents SO much. What a lucky little guy :)
