{RPM}

For those of you who don't know, RPM is the consulting firm Lance works for. He started out as an
intern this time last year and has quickly moved up into a Team Lead Manager position. He works 60
hours a week (I know, crazy hours!) and manages 9 projects. This means that 9 team leads are under
him and then 2 or 3 people under each of those 9 team leads.

Lance and his 9 teams work very hard to accelerate the growth and competitive edge of their clients.
It's really incredible how much he is learning and the amazing people he gets to rub shoulders with.
As a wife, you want nothing more than for your husband to be happy at work and to be continually
pushed to learn and grow. We feel so blessed that Lance has had the opportunity to work for RPM! We
could not have chosen a better fit for our family and especially for Lance.

I am so proud of the dedication and hard work he has put into the company. He works incredibly hard so
that I can stay at home with Crew. I hesitate even putting that on here because I realize that there are
many moms who would love to stay at home and cant. Or that enjoy their jobs! For us, this set-up has
been absolutely perfect and I'm grateful everything has seemed to come together to help that happen.

The culture at RPM is very different than most companies. We have events every few months where all
the employees and their families are invited to come and have fun! This last one was at Progressive
Power Tumbling in Provo. It was a blast :)

The RPM partners both have daughters close to Crew's age.

No one made it over without knocking down the stack except for Lance.

This isn't the entire group but here are a lot of the RPM guys!

Haha! This pictures cracks me up.

{My Track Star}

I am SO stinking proud of Lance and his hard work this year on the BYU track team. He has been so dedicated to working hard and improving his times. And just this last week, he qualified for Regionals! So it's off to Texas this next week to compete for a spot at Nationals. Unfortunately, flying is out of the question for me with only 4 weeks to go. I will just have to cheer him on from home! (And hope with ALL my might that this baby doesn't come the 5 days he is gone)

Here Lance is with his dad Scott and little sister Trisha

Mmmm.... look at that tight butt! :) Lance warming up at the blocks. I always get so nervous for him right about now!

Way to go babe!

Jake, Kenna, Melissa and Avi out to watch Lance run. Kenna LOVED watching the races and kept asking all sorts of questions. First she asked, "Why is he jogging?" and I told her it was to loosen his muscles. She then asked, "Why are his muscles hard?" I love my Kenna girl.

GOOD LUCK AT REGIONALS BABE!

my husband the track star

Lance had a great track season this year, breaking his
personal record twice! I was very excited to go with him
and his dad, Scott, to Eugene Oregon for track Regionals.
BYU was very well represented with over 30 team
members who qualified. It was a lot of fun to watch
our athletes compete against some of the nation's best
athletes. I am so proud of Lance and all his hard work
and dedication this year.
I love you honey!

While almost all of Lance's meets were in other states,
we really enjoyed when Lance had a home meet at BYU.
It's always a blast getting together with friends and family
and enjoying the sunshine and good company. Plus,
Lance consistently takes top 3 which makes for very exciting races.

I would upload more photos but my camera has gone
dead and it's my bed time :) More photos later!

happy 24th lance!

On January 23rd, my sexy hubby turned 24. Since he has started traveling with the track team now, he was gone for his birthday so we got together with the families a few days later to celebrate. I tried a new recipe from The Lion House. This Lemon Chiffon Cake was delicious! And a hit with everyone at the party. Also, we surprised Lance and got him a new Ipod! He was very excited that he can now watch movies on his long flights to track meets.

Somebody said, "Hey Lance! Its your first birthday as a married man." And Lance immediately said, "Happy Birthday to me!" and thus my face in this picture... oh babe, I love you.

We love our families! A little singing, a little cake, a little visiting, a little guitar hero... it was so fun hanging out with everyone. Thank you for your love and support!
